Client: Great Jakes

  • Used this project to reset the Great Jakes build approach, replacing heavier styling dependencies with a cleaner CSS Modules and reusable-component architecture.
  • Structured layouts and content sections as reusable patterns that improved scalability, maintainability, and delivery consistency across future firm websites.
  • Good evidence of the platform-modernization side of my work: reducing technical debt, creating repeatable delivery paths, and making teams faster without making the system fragile.

    Project overview

Larkin Hoffman became a useful proof point for platform modernization work at Great Jakes. The project moved away from heavier styling dependencies and helped establish a cleaner component and CSS Modules pattern that could be reused across future builds.

    Why it matters

  • Reduced dependency weight and made the front-end foundation easier to reason about.
  • Turned one site build into a repeatable delivery pattern for future enterprise client work.
  • Shows the same operating mode I bring to solution architecture: simplify the system, make the path reusable, and leave the team with something sturdier than what it started with.
